William J. Bell
William Joseph Bell (born March 6, 1927 in Chicago , † April 29, 2005 in Los Angeles ) was an American television producer , entrepreneur and screenwriter .
Life
Bell worked as a screenwriter from 1956 to 1998 and as a television producer from 1973 to 2005 in the United States. Together with his wife Lee Philip Bell, he created the US successful soap opera Shadow of Passion . He wrote the scripts for many other American television productions and has been responsible as a television producer since 1973, including the soap opera Reich und Schön . Bell founded the television production company Bell-Phillip Television Productions . Bell had been married to television talk show host Lee Phillip Bell since 1954 . His daughter is the actress Lauralee Bell and his son is the television producer Bradley Bell .
