Bell Island is a small island in the Juniata River , Pennsylvania , United States . It belongs to the Fermanagh Township , Juniata County and is located between the confluence of the Lost Creek in the Juanita River and the two small towns of Mifflin and Mifflintown . Here the river breaks through an Appalachian ridge.

The island measures around 1,500 by 400 meters. Bell Island is largely forested and is now uninhabited.
