Belling is a part of the municipality Jatznick in the Uecker-Randow-Tal district in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

history

In 1236 a knight was named Henricus de Bellinge , who may have given the place its name. In 1350 Belynghe was mentioned in the land register of Charles IV.

Since 1816 it belonged to the district of Ueckermünde in the province of Pomerania in the Kingdom of Prussia . In 1919 the place was electrified.

In 2001 the independent municipality of Belling became part of the municipality of Jatznick.
