description
The small gable-facing house is one of the few buildings that survived the great fire of 1679. It is inscribed and dated to 1590. This makes the house one of the oldest half-timbered buildings in the old district of Wetzlar . It is built in a post- and-beam construction with over-leafed bars and with struts engaging in the horizontal timbers .
