Ben Zion Ruby

Ben-Zion Ruby ( בן-ציון רובין; * January 6, 1939 in Tripoli ) is a former Israeli politician who was Deputy Minister for Welfare and Social Services as a member of the Tami from August 11, 1981 to September 13, 1984 .

Life

Rubin immigrated to Israel in 1949 as part of the Aliyah , where he studied to become a teacher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . He later studied journalism at Tel Aviv University . In 1961 he was a member of the Mafdal . In the 1977 elections, he entered the Knesset via the Mafdal's electoral list . Towards the end of the legislative period, he left Mafdal to work on Tami von Aharon Abuchazira . He was on Tami's electoral list in the 1981 election and was appointed Deputy Minister for Welfare and Social Services on August 11, 1981. He remained in office until the 1984 elections.
