Ben Bernschneider
Ben Bernschneider ; actually Jonas Bernschneider , (born April 6, 1976 in Wesel ) is a German author, director and photographer.
Life
After graduating from high school and breaking off his German and American studies, Ben Bernschneider wrote scripts at the Cologne Filmhaus and switched to advertising in 2001. He worked as a copywriter at the Hamburg agency weigertpirouzwolf for almost five years and has received several awards. Since April 2005 he has been working as a screenwriter, photographer and director and is responsible for, among other things, Gonger - The evil never forgets , Gonger 2 - The evil returns and an episode of the RTL series Countdown - The hunt begins . In September 2011 his debut novel Sturm & Drang was published .
Bernschneider self-published several photo books, starting with Diamondtimes (2013). The first part of his America book trilogy Tales Of An American Summer was published in 2015, followed by Return Of An American Summer and The End Of An American Summer in 2016 and 2018 . In 2019, Voyageur was the first part of his new trilogy.
In 2019 he founded the Bam Bam Club, where young photographers can learn more about analog photography, and published the first season of the photography podcast Bam Bam Tapes .
He has been married to actress Henrike Fehrs since September 2015 .
