Benjamin "Ben" Bridges (born February 3, 1937 in Kingston upon Hull ) is a former English football player .

Career

Bridges came to Hull City after finishing school in 1955 and received a professional contract there in the summer of 1957. The striker initially played for Hull's third team in the Yorkshire League , and in March 1957 the Star Green correspondent noted : “The main attraction in Hull City's otherwise disappointing Yorkshire League XI is Benny Bridges, a young striker with ideas for scoring opportunities The breakthrough in the first team did not succeed Bridges, only on December 28, 1957 he came as part of the storm line Johnny Stephens - Doug Clarke - Bill Bradbury - Bridges - David Fraser in a 1-0 home win in the third North Division against Stockport County . In 1960 he will be in non-League football the FC Scarborough have connected, but there he denied, at least for the first team a competitive match.
