Ben Brooks
Ben Brooks (born 1992 in Gloucestershire , United Kingdom ) is a British writer .
Life
Brooks has written more than six novels and three non-fiction books so far (as of summer 2018). He published his first novel Fences at the age of 17 . His novels often deal with the problems of young people, alcohol, drugs, sex, lovesickness and the Internet. It is sometimes warned that his books contain gross expressions and are not suitable for minors. Brooks has been influenced by writers such as Tao Lin , Howard Buten , Noah Cicero , Kurt Vonnegut , Chris Killen , Socrates Adams , John Scalzi . He has lived in Gloucester , Barcelona , Tiana and London and currently lives in Berlin . His book Stories for Boys Who Dare to be Different about role models for boys is among other things. a. has been translated into German, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Czech.
