Ben van Dael (born March 3, 1965 in Swalmen ) is a clubless Dutch football coach . He was most recently under contract with Zagłębie Lubin .

Career

Van Dael worked from 1999 to 2015 as a youth and assistant trainer at VVV-Venlo . On December 7, 2015, he succeeded Peter van Vossen as head coach of Fortuna Sittard . His contract ran until mid-2019, but was terminated on December 17, 2016 due to poor results. In the 2017/18 season, van Dael was the youth coach of the U19 team of the Vitesse Voetbal Academie from Vitesse Arnhem from July 31, 2017 .

At the Polish first division club Zagłębie Lubin he became head of youth training on July 1, 2018, and assistant to head coach Mariusz Lewandowski on October 23, 2018 . Lewandowski was fired on October 29, 2018, and van Dael became head coach.

After a failed start to the season, van Dael was fired in September 2019.
