Bender - head over heels (Original title: Bendless Love ) is an episode of the American science fiction - animated series Futurama . action
The robot Bender , originally built to bend steel girders , no longer lives out this requirement in the delivery company Planet Express , where it now works. This causes him to bend things out of control while sleepwalking . Even Prof. Farnsworth , his boss, bends Bender. He is not allowed to continue working until he has satisfied his "bending desire".
Bender hires a strike breaker at a company that bends steel girders. Bender's “twin” Flexo , an identical model that differs from Bender only in that it has a goatee , and the robot lady Anglelyne , Flexo's ex-wife, also work there. Bender and Anglelyne fall in love and become a couple. When Bender sees Flexo and Anglelyne in a restaurant, he becomes jealous. He meets her, disguised as flexo by a magnetic beard, in order to catch her red-handed with himself. On the date, Bender throws money around and thus attracts the annoyance of the robot mafia or Flexo. Just as Bender manages to seduce Anglelyne, his camouflage is blown and she recognizes him.
Because Anglelyne was seduced by the wrong flexo, Bender wants to kill Flexo. The robot mafia, who thought Bender was flexo, also wants to kill him. During the showdown between Bender and Flexo, the Mafiosi drop an "unbending" steel beam on Flexo. Using all his strength, Bender bends it and thus saves Flexo. This earns him Anglelyne's approval, but not her love. Anglelyne and Flexo get back together, and Bender, whose urge to bend has now been satisfied, returns to his work at Planet Express .
