Benedetto "Bené" Gola (according to some sources also Giuseppe Gola ; born December 28, 1904 in Chieri , Italy , † unknown) was an Italian football player and coach .

Career

As a player

Gola started his career in his hometown of Chieri. 1927/28 he ran for Juventus Turin in the Italian football championship and ended the season with seven appearances under the Hungarian coach József Viola in third place.

Gola then played for Vomero Napoli, FBC Derthona , SG Sampierdarenese and Atalanta Bergamo . At the end of the season he ended his active career at his home club AC Chieri .

As a trainer

In the 1934/35 season Bené Gola worked as assistant coach to Carlo Bigatto at Juventus Turin . The team replaced the on December 9, 1934 dismissed coach Carlo Carcano . The two looked after the team until the end of the season and won the fifth and final championship title of the Quinquennio d'Oro with Juve .
