Benedictus de Alevelde senior
Benedictus de Alevelde senior, miles (Benedict von Ahlefeldt auf Seegaart, also: Benedi (c) kt (Bendix) the Elder) († 1380 ) was the first councilor and military leader of the Danish King Waldemar IV. And the first of the sure lineage of the noble family of Ahlefeldt .
Life
He waged a war of several years with the Danish King Waldemar IV and wrested Duke Waldemar III. Frankie Castle in Schleswig and almost the entire Duchy of Schleswig and the island of Langeland , which he gave up for looting after the custom of the war at the time . His name was first mentioned in documents in 1320. His wife came from the old Nordic noble family of the von Sture. Benedictus de Alevelde died in 1380 and left three sons, Nicolaus and Henricus and Benedictus junior, who was mentioned in various documents (1340, 1360, 1390 and 1397). His son was Benedikt von Ahlefeldt auf Seegaart, who fathered seven sons with Catharina von Dosenrade, including Enevold Sövenbröder .
