Benelli (weapons manufacturer)

Benelli (also called Benelli Armi ) is an Italian arms manufacturer founded in Urbino in 1967 by the Benelli brothers (who also produced motorcycles). The headquarters are in Urbino, Italy. Benelli is known for shotguns , among other things , but also for semi-automatic sport pistols. Benelli has been owned by the gun manufacturer Beretta since 2000 .

Benelli Super 90-M4
The Benelli Super 90-M4 is a 12/76 caliber shotgun. Furthermore, the M4 is a gas pressure charger , in contrast to the previous models M1 - M3, which are recoil chargers . In 1999 the United States Department of Defense ordered 20,000 pieces under the designation XM1014 Joint Combat Shotgun, first for the Marines and later for all branches of service.
