Lists on the subject

The Benelli M3 (Super 90) is a semi-automatic shotgun produced by the Italian firearms manufacturer Benelli , which is particularly used for shotgun barrel projectiles . In addition, it can be operated using pump action .

description

The Benelli M3 has a 7 round magazine (+ a cartridge in the barrel) and uses the semi-automatic Benelli system first shown in the Benelli M1 . The Benelli M3 can be used as a semi-automatic weapon as well as manual loading as a forearm repeater. It is known as a reliable weapon with a wide range of uses and is used by both police forces and sport shooters. When using weaker ammunition with low recoil, such as rubber bullets , the M3 is reloaded manually. With normal shot ammunition, the M3 can be switched to semi-automatic mode. The main difference to the previous Benelli M1 rifle is the change between manual and semi-automatic use. The successor version Benelli M4 is used by the US Marines .

variants

The M3 is available with different barrel lengths, shafts and visors in different versions:

  • Fixed shaft
  • Detachable / foldable stock with pistol grip

The visors used on the Benelli M3 are available either as open visors or with various holders for optical visors . Laser pointers are possible as an additional option.
