The Bener was a measure of volume and weight in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . Liquids were measured primarily, especially milk . It was also called the milk measure.

The crutch corresponded to the Quärtlein. Half a gutter was like a large spoon and a quarter gutter of a large gutter was like a small spoon.

Was calculated by weight, was

  • 1 Bener = 4 Krinnen = pound (light Graubündner) = 2773 grams

The ridge had two value ranges: the small and the large ridge. The difference was the size and it amounted to

  • 4 small troughs = 3 large troughs
  • 1 small gutter = 520 ⅜ grams
  • 1 large gutter = 693 4/5 grams

The greater measure was the Rupp .

  • 1 rupp = 12.5 large cranes

A so-called heavy hundredweight had 75 large and 100 small cranes.
