Benesch (civil servant)

Benesch ( Bnš ) was a high ancient Egyptian official with the title of Mayor of Heliopolis ( Ḥ3tj-ˁ-n-Jwnw ). He is only known from a kauroid seal on which his father is also named, but of which nothing is known. The seal was found in Bubastis . It probably dates to the New Kingdom (around 1550 to 1080 BC).
