Bengo is a town in Angola , in southwest Africa .

Bengo is the seat of a municipality of the same name (Comuna) in the district ( Município ) of Cangola , in the province of Uíge . The community has around 12,000 inhabitants (2014 estimate). The 2014 census is now intended to provide more accurate population data.
The Bengo municipality comprises 30 localities.
