Benjamin Dahlke

Benjamin Dahlke (born May 21, 1982 in Bad Driburg ) is a German Catholic theologian. He is Professor of Dogmatics at the Paderborn Theological Faculty .

Life

After studying philosophy and theology in Paderborn , Munich and Princeton , he was in 2009 at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz at Leonhard Hell to Dr. theol. PhD. The habilitation (2015) also took place in Mainz . Dahlke worked as a deacon in Herne and after his ordination and a short temporary period in Bad Driburg as vicar in Dortmund (2011-2016). At the same time, he was teaching at the University of Duisburg-Essen (2014–2016). He then received a research fellowship at Boston College (2016–2017). Since 2017 he has been Professor of Dogmatics and the History of Dogma at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn. He is the direct successor to Heribert Mühlen , who held this office from 1964 to 1997.

In 2010 he received the Hanns Lilje Prize .
