Benjamin Gerritsz. Cuyp
Benjamin Gerritsz [oon] Cuyp (* before December 1612 in Dordrecht ; † before August 28, 1652 ibid) was a Dutch painter .
Benjamin Gerritsz. Cuyp was a relative, possibly a nephew, of Aelbert Jacobsz. Cuyp . But he never achieved the same level of skill as this one. Mainly he painted biblical stories.
One of his works, The Adoration of the Shepherds in Oil on Oak, is in the Lower Saxony State Museum for Art and Cultural History .
