Benjamin Grund (born November 10, 1980 in Munich ) is a German tenor , composer , lyricist, producer and singer in the popular hit industry .

Benjamin Grund was from 1986 to 1992 with the Tölzer Knabenchor and from 1992 to 1999 soloist with the Regensburger Domspatzen . In 1999, Benjamin Grund ended his time with the Regensburger Domspatzen and took first place in the singing category in the regional competition Jugend musiziert . Since 1999 he has been a soloist on the Christmas Tour Holy Night every year .

In 2000 Benjamin Grund was awarded the Dieter Ulrich Music Prize from Werbe-Spiegel and made his television debut with the song The First Love, the First Red Roses in the preliminary round of the Grand Prix of Folk Music . Two months later, Benjamin Grund achieved first place in the ZDF popular hit parade with this song. Since 2003 he has been working as a composer and music producer with the lyricist Heiner Graf. In 2004 Benjamin Grund took 7th place in the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix of Folk Music with his own composition When my song sounds , the text is penned by Heiner Graf. Another participation took place in the German preliminary decision of the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 2009 with the song: "In nomine patris", and in 2010 with the song "Mother Maria".

From January 2005 to May 2005 Benjamin Grund toured Germany with Carolin Reiber and the Stars of Folk Music . In 2010, the captain of the German national soccer team, Philipp Lahm , hired him as a soloist for his wedding party in Aying near Munich.

In 2014 he was a founding member of the Voices of the Mountains group and has been a member since then.
