Benjamin Joses Odoki

Benjamin Joses Odoki (born March 23, 1943 in Dhaka , Busia District , in eastern Uganda) is a Ugandan lawyer and Chief Justice of Uganda . He is married and has four kids.

Life

Benjamin Joses Odoki attended elementary and elementary school at " King's College " in Budo . He studied law at Dar-es-Salaam University and graduated with honors in 1969. From 1978 to 1986 he was a judge at the High Court of Uganda and participated in the legal appraisal of the terror regime of Idi Amin Dada . Between 1986 and 2001 Odoki was a judge on the Supreme Court, established in 1986 . Since January 30, 2001 he has been the country's chief judge .
