Benji (born December 9, 1997 in Budapest ; actually Lê Quang Huy ) is a Hungarian singer of Vietnamese descent.

life and career

The son of Vietnamese parents first became publicly known in 2014 when he took part in the casting show The X Factor at the age of sixteen . He was eliminated in the eleventh round and thus reached third place.

In 2016 he took part in the A Dal , the Hungarian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the song Kötéltánc he reached second place in the preliminary round, but was eliminated in the semi-finals in the shared last place.

In 2017 he repeated his participation in the A Dal, this time with the song Karcok . After he had progressed to sixth place in the preliminary round only through televoting, he was eliminated in the semi-finals in last place.
