Hubertus "Bennie" Johannes Nicolaas Wijnstekers (born August 31, 1955 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

Wijnstekers started his career at Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1975. He stayed with the stadium club for a total of 13 years. He won the Dutch Cup twice and the Dutch championship once there. In 1988 the defender moved to Belgium for KRC Mechelen . From 1990 to 1991 he let his career end with Germinal Ekeren .

Internationally, Wijnstekers played 36 times for the Dutch national football team and scored one goal. He took part in the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , where the Netherlands were eliminated in the group stage as third party.
