Benny Opoku-Arthur (born December 20, 1997 in Berlin ) is a German actor and model .

Life

Benny Opoku-Arthur was born Benedict Nana Opoku-Arthur in Berlin. His parents come from Ghana , which is why he grew up bilingually with English and German as his mother tongues. Since the pre-class he attended the State European School (SESB). In the summer of 2016 he completed his Abitur at the Schiller-Gymnasium Berlin . Since the third grade he took part in theater work groups.

He first worked professionally in 2013 on the production Der Ring: Next Generation in the Junge Ensemble at the Deutsche Oper Berlin , directed by Robert Lehniger .

In 2018 Arthur was cast in Burhan Qurbani's cinema adaptation by Alfred Döblin's Berlin Alexanderplatz . This was followed by the first major role in Ziska Riemann's sex education comedy Get Lucky - Sex changes everything .
