Benny Södergren (born June 23, 1948 in Torshälla ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Södergren, who started for the Edsbyns SK , came in 1971 and 1976 in the Svenska Skidspelen each on the second place with the relay. At the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , he won the bronze medal over 50 km. He also took 13th place over 15 km, 12th place over 30 km and fourth place with the relay. In the same year he became Swedish champion with the season of Edsbyns SK. In February 1977 he reached second place with the relay at the Lahti Ski Games . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1978 , he achieved 33rd place over 15 km.
