The Benson Glacier is a glacier on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows from the eastern part of the flight deck firn field in a northeasterly direction between the Fry and Mackay glaciers to the northern section of Granite Harbor .

The New Zealand Northern Group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) mapped it in 1957 as part of the Midship Glacier and named it after the New Zealand geologist William Noel Benson (1885-1957) of the University of Otago , who made significant contributions to the petrology of Victoria Land performed.
