Bento Joaquim Sebastião Francisco Bento is an Angolan politician from the Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola (MPLA).

Life

Bento Joaquim Sebastião Francisco Bento completed a degree in political science , which he completed with a master's degree . In 1992 he became deputy general director of the beverage company Cuca BGI . From 2011 to 2014 he was governor of the province of Luanda and was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly (Assembleia Nacional) on the election of December 31, 2012 on the list of the Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola (MPLA) . He was temporarily a member of the Politburo and First Secretary of the Central Committee (ZK) of the MPLA and also a member of the Central Committee of the MPLA, to which he still belongs today. In addition, he was Second Vice President of the National Assembly.

After his re-election in the election of August 23, 2017 , he became a member of the 4th Parliamentary Commission (4ª Comissão: Administração do Estado e Poder Local) , which is responsible for state and local government.
