Ber-nadin-ahhe

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ber-nadin-ahhe , son of Aššur-nīrārī , was an Assyrian eponym under Aššur-rim-nišešu . His name is passed down from several legal texts from Assur (KAJ 8; 174). His son was Ibašši-ili, his grandson Šamaš -kidinnu, his great-grandson the scribe Ellil-mudammeq. According to Grayson, titles in two legal texts and genealogy indicate that Ber-nadin-ahhe was not only the highest judge but also king. However, this position is controversial as it is not included in the Assyrian king list.
