Aššur-rim-nišešu

Aššur-rîm-nišešu , son of Aššur-nārāri II. Was a Central Assyrian king who ruled for eight years according to the Assyrian king list .

His name is also included in the synchronistic king list. Aššur-rîm-nišešu carried the title Viceroy of Assur ( išši'ak Aššur ). He renewed the city walls of Assur and brought the founding cylinders of Kikkia , Ikunum , Sargon I , Puzur-Aššur II. And Aššur-nirari I back to their original location. One of the officials working under him as an eponym was his brother Ber-nadin-ahhe .
