Enlil-nasir I.

Enlil-naṣir I. (" Enlil protects"), son of Puzur-Aššur III. was an Assyrian king. He ruled for 13 years according to the Assyrian king list and carried the title Viceroy of Aššur ( išši'ak Aššur ).

He restored the gate towers of a temple in Aššur , whose name has been broken off and which Ischme-Dagan II had built. Enlil-naṣir is also known from the synchronistic king list : he is contemporary of Ulam-buriaš . His successor was his son Nur-ili , of whom no inscriptions have survived, but who was also a contemporary of Ulam-buriaš '.
