Šarma-Adad I.

Šarma-Adad I ( Scharma-Adad, Sarma-Adad ) was the 50th Assyrian king and son of Libaia , about whose twelve-year reign little is known. He was succeeded by his son Iptar-Sin according to the Assyrian royal list .

According to the Assyrian synchronous king list, Šarma-Adad was a contemporary of Melam-kurkurra , Kaštiliaš (usually interpreted as Kaštiliaš II. ), Abī-Rattaš , Urzigurumaš , Harba-Šipak , Tiptakzi , Išme-Dagan and Burna-buriaš .
