Puzur-Aššur led the title Viceroy of Aššur ( išši'ak Aššur ). Puzur-Aššur restored a room in the Ištar temple, which Ilu-šuma built and Šarru-kīn I ( Sargon I ) had restored, and which had become dilapidated again, as well as the step gate in the town of Aššur . A clay vessel from Aššur bears the inscription: [Property of] the palace of Puzur-Aššur.
