Economic Advisory Committee to the OECD

The Economic Advisory Committee of the OECD ( BIAC for short , Business at OECD or Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD ) is a committee attached to the OECD that represents the point of view of the economy. It itself points to a global membership of more than 7 million companies.

The body is now seen - together with the Trade Union Advisory Committee at the OECD (TUAC) - as an integral player in the OECD ecosystem. The network was founded in 1962 and is based in Paris .

Its members include more than 40 trade associations from around the world, including the BDI , BDA , the Federation of Industry and economiesuisse .
