The Mountain Bay is a small bay on the Pennell Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located between Birthday Point and Islands Point on the west side of Robertson Bay .
The northern group led by the British polar explorer Victor Campbell on the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) mapped and named this bay in 1911. It is named after the numerous icebergs in the bay , which were caused by the calving of the Haffner- Glaciers are formed.
