Research results on the effect
Paul BELAICHE led series of tests with savory oil against pathogenic germs of some common infectious diseases, including Proteus morgani , Proteus rettegeri (intestinal infection), alcalescens dispar , Corynebacterium xerosa ( diphtheria ), Neisseria flava (sinus and ear infections), Staphylococcus alba ( food poisoning ), Klebsiella pneumoniae ( pneumonia ), Candida albicans ( thrush ) by means of an aromatogram . The measured values determined for the ability of the savory oil to inhibit the growth of germs were between 0.24 and 0.72 (0 = no reaction, 1 = complete inhibition). As a result of this result, he included the oil in the category of oils with the strongest effect against bacteria and viruses .
