Bergfeld is a district of the municipality of Kasseedorf in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein .

geography

The place is at an altitude of 125 m at the foot of the Bungsberg and is therefore the highest place in Schleswig-Holstein and one of the highest places in the entire North German Plain .

The next bigger places are the rose town Eutin , Bad Malente , Neustadt i. H. , Lensahn and Lütjenburg , they are 12 to 20 kilometers away. The well-known seaside resorts on the Baltic Sea are approx. 20 km away; these are the Hohwacht Bay (Hohwacht, Sehlendorf, Weißenhäuser Strand) and the Lübeck Bay (Grömitz, Scharbeutz, Timmendorfer Strand).
