Berggravrista is a largely icy mountain ridge in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It extends between the mountain basins of Cappelenbotnen and Helland-Hansenbotnen in the northern part of Sivorgfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1967 after the Norwegian Bishop Eivind Berggrav (1884–1959), best known for his unyielding attitude towards the German occupiers of Norway in World War II .
