The Int. AvD hillclimb Lower Franconia is a since 1967 hosted a mountain race and is held annually in Eichenbühl in Miltenberg held on Main. Eichenbühl is located around eight kilometers east of Miltenberg in the Erftal between Frankfurt and Würzburg .

history

Since 1967 races have been held there as part of the Int. AvD hill climb in Lower Franconia for the German Mountain Championship. In 1978 the event had to be canceled due to a storm. In 2020, the 53rd Eichenbühl mountain race will take place on September 12th and 13th.

Route data

The demanding route on the state road 507 from Eichenbühl to Umpfenbach is characterized by tight curves in the first third, the middle and upper part of the route is driven at top speeds. The route is approved for series touring cars, touring cars, grand tourisme cars, sports cars, special touring cars and formula racing cars.
