Reports on the preservation of monuments in Lower Saxony is a specialist journal that provides information on topics relating to the preservation of monuments in Lower Saxony in easily understandable language . The journal, which has been published quarterly since 1981 by the Lower Saxony State Office for the Preservation of Monuments (NLD), contains a cross-section of all fields of monument preservation activity and offers a forum for experts . At the same time, the magazine informs interested laypeople in easily understandable language and aims to arouse understanding and interest in the various tasks of monument protection . While the individual issues cover a wide range of topics from the preservation of buildings and art monuments, archeology, inventory and restoration workshops, there are individual issues on a key topic.
The magazine is published by the President of the Lower Saxony State Office for Monument Preservation, currently (2020) Christina Krafczyk , and is published by CW Niemeyer Buchverlage .
