The Berlin soccer championship of the BBB 1908/09 was the second Berlin soccer championship held under the re-established Berliner Ballspiel-Bund . This year's championship was played in a group of nine participants, two of which withdrew during the season. The BFC North Star sat down with three points ahead of SC Britannia Spandau through and was for the first time Berlin football champions of the BBB . The DFB had this year, only two teams from Berlin to the German soccer championship participate, these were the masters of Märkischen Football Association and theAssociation of Berlin Athletics Clubs . The champions of the BBBs and the Association of Berlin Athletics Clubs were not given the opportunity by the DFB to participate in the German soccer championship this season.
