Bernard Emanuilowitsch Bychowski

Bernard Emanuilowitsch Bychowski ( Russian Бернард Эммануилович Быховский ; * September 12, 1898 , † April 19, 1980 ) was a Soviet philosopher. His topics were next to the dialectical materialism of Thomism , the philosophy of George Berkeley , Kierkegaard , Feuerbach , and Schopenhauer .

In 1920 he became a member of the Communist Party . Until 1923 he studied at the Belarusian State University , from 1929 he was a professor there. In 1944 he was awarded the State Prize of the USSR .

Bychowski has written 55 books and written around 140 essays in compilations and magazines.
