Bernard Makuza

Bernard Makuza (born September 30, 1961 ) was Prime Minister of Rwanda from March 8, 2000 to October 7, 2011 . He belongs to the Hutu ethnic group .

Before taking office as Prime Minister, Bernard Makuza was Ambassador to Burundi and Germany . After his replacement as Prime Minister Makuza was appointed Senator by President Kagame .
