Bernard Onanga Itoua (born September 7, 1988 in Blois ) is a French-Congolese football player .

Career

Onanga Itoua played from 2003 to 2008 in the youth team of AJ Auxerre and was used in the second team from the 2008/09 season. In the 2010/11 season, he also played two games in Ligue 1 . In the summer of 2011 Onanga Itoua moved to the Bulgarian club Litex Lovetsch , where he was regularly used. For the 2012/13 season Onanga Itoua went to Isralel to join Hapoel Ramat Gan . There he was also a regular player. After Ramat Gan's relegation in the spring of 2013, Onanga Itoua went on a free transfer to German third division promoted SV Elversberg, with whom he signed a three-year contract. After a year he left Elversberg again to AO Platanias in the Greek Super League . There he immediately became a regular in the defense and ended the 2014/15 season with his team in a secure midfield. In the following season he was rarely used and mostly found himself on the bench. After the end of the season, his contract was not extended. Itoua was without a club for three months before the Romanian first division club Gaz Metan Mediaș signed him at the end of September 2016 . There it was only used five times in the 2016/17 season . He left the club in August 2017 and was hired by Cypriot first division club Alki Oroklini for a year . He has been without a club since July 1, 2018.
