Bernardazzi
The Bernardazzi family was a Swiss family of architects and artists from Pambio near Lugano in the canton of Ticino .
Ten people come from the family who have erected 40 famous monuments in Saint Petersburg alone over the course of 200 years . Besides Saint Petersburg, the main areas of activity were the cities of Moscow , Odessa , Chișinău , Pyatigorsk and Sevastopol .
Documents and writings, plans and sketches as well as a portrait of Giuseppe Bernardazzi are kept in the Bernardazzi family archive.
