Bernardo Saraiva (born August 6, 1993 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese tennis player .

Career

Saraiva competed in his first tournament on the ITF Future Tour in 2011, but was only able to place in the world rankings in 2015 . He studied at the University of San Francisco between 2011 and 2015 , where he also played college tennis . He made his first appearance on the second-rate ATP Challenger Tour in Aptos in 2016 when he lost in the first round in doubles. In the following two years he won twelve double titles on the Future Tour, which improved him to 243th in the world rankings. His first success on the Challenger Tour came in January 2019 when he won the doubles competition in Columbus with the American Maxime Cressy .
