Bernd Eberstein

Bernd Eberstein (* 1942 ) is a German sinologist . Bernd Eberstein studied Sinology and Philosophy in Hamburg and Beijing .

Eberstein published on the Chinese theater of the 20th century, on the Chinese literature of the 20th century and on the history of relations between Hamburg and China. Until 2008 he taught as a professor at the Asia-Africa Institute at the University of Hamburg .
