Bernd Hadewig

Bernd Hadewig (born July 2, 1946 in Wedel ) is a German politician of the FDP .

Life and work

After graduating from high school, Hadewig studied pedagogy and Protestant theology in Hamburg and Kiel . From 1973 to 1975 he was a research assistant for Uwe Ronneburger, member of the Bundestag . Later he was a board member of the Association of Independent Waldorf Schools and managing director of the Waldorf School in Eckernförde .

Political party

Hadewig joined the Young Democrats and the FDP in 1967 . In 1969 he became the district chairman of the young democrats in the Pinneberg district and deputy young democratic state chairman in Schleswig-Holstein . From 1970 to 1972 he was deputy federal chairman of the Young Democrats, then until 1974 their Schleswig-Holstein state chairman for two years. Since 1973 he has been a member of the district executive of the FDP in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district and since 1974 of the FDP state executive in Schleswig-Holstein .

Hadewig belongs to the left-liberal and ecological wing of his party.

MP

The Landtag Schleswig-Holstein belonged Hadewig 1975-1979 and 23 October 1980, when he again for Uwe Ronneburger nachrückte until 1983.

As a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament and the Eckernförde council, he sat down a. a. against nuclear power, against some road and motorway projects, for environmental protection measures and for the creation of so-called symbolic "nuclear weapon-free zones" at the municipal level. He earned a special merit as the first "Borbyhof opponent" in his capacity as Eckernförder councilor: his criticism (including the seriousness of the alleged builder and some of the planned operators and the financing) of a building project planned there in the early 1980s ( including ice rink) ultimately proved to be correct after more than two years of discussion (see: History of the City of Eckernförde ).
