Bernd Ramm

Bernd Rudolf Ramm (* 1940 in Hamburg ) is a German medical physicist , non-fiction author and party founder for a time. Ramm has lived in Berlin since 1978 .

As a student, Ramm was a judoka; 1966/1967 he was German university champion in judo. After completing his doctorate at the University of Bonn , Ramm worked for many years as a medical physicist at the Charité and other state hospitals in Berlin, most recently as academic director.

Ramm has described several medical books as well as non-fiction books on radiation protection and radiation exposure after Chernobyl . Between 1993 and 1995 he was chairman of the "Citizens and City Party" of Berlin, which he co-founded. After the disappointing election result for the city party, he resigned from the party chairmanship and left the party.

In 2005, Ramm was elected lay judge at the Berlin Regional Court ; According to his own statement, his motivation was that he supposedly wanted to prevent the judiciary from making judgments that were too mild. Shortly before he took office, he placed an ad in a Berlin newspaper describing his intention.
