Bernhard Boll (IV) (born December 7, 1946 in Solingen ) is a German newspaper publisher .

Bernhard Boll is the fourth generation of the family and the fourth bearer of the name to run the B. Boll publishing house, which publishes the highest-circulation newspapers in the cities of Solingen and Remscheid , the Solinger Tageblatt (since 1867) and the Remscheider General-Anzeiger (since 2012). His father was the publisher Bernhard Boll (III), who fell victim to a crime in 1968.

Boll studied law at the University of Cologne and joined the family company in 1973 as managing partner; since 1975 he has been a publisher and editor. Since 1989 he has also been managing director of the operating company for Radio RSG (local radio for Remscheid and Solingen). From 1990 to 2002 he was Chairman of the Newspaper Publishers Association of North Rhine-Westphalia and is a member of the Extended Presidium of the Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers and the Supervisory Board of Zeitungs Marketing Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG.

Boll is a member of the board of trustees of the Heinz Kühn Foundation and an honorary citizen of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal .
