Bernhard Brinkert

Bernhard Brinkert (born August 12, 1930 in Bottrop ; † October 3, 2015 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as an electrician and worked as a company electrician until 1956. From 1956 to 1975 he was the trade union secretary of the mining and energy industry and then director of human resources and social affairs at the Eschweiler Bergwerk-Verein .

Brinkert had been a member of the CDU since 1957. He was represented in numerous party committees, such as B. as a member of the federal executive committee of the Christian Democratic Workforce and as chairman of the CDA regional association Westphalia-Lippe.

From May 29, 1980 to May 30, 1990 Brinkert was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected from his party's national list. He was a member of the City Council of Bottrop from 1961 to 1994.
